"Shakespeare is APT’s heart and soul, with accompanying works ranging from the Greeks to British comedies. The acting company of 28 members, along with a staff which reaches 120 during the heart of the season, produce five plays performed in repertory. Founded in 1979, the Theatre has grown in popularity and now is the second most popular outdoor classical theatre in the country.
