  If you're looking for an alternative to the traditional meeting venue, consider making Dodgeville your destination venue. Dodgeville, 45 miles southwest of Madison, is conveniently located at the nexus of Hwys 18/151 and Hwy 23. Noteworthy area attractions include: Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin, American Players Theatre, The House on the Rock, and Governor Dodge State Park.
With more than 300 hotel rooms locally, there are many lodging options. A number of sites can be coordinated to serve as break-out sessions and the Dodge Theatre, in historic downtown Dodgeville, can seat 290 for keynote addresses and large groups. There are a number of resources for catering meals, as well as many local restaurants (and shops!), if attendees will have lunch on their own.
Dodgeville hosted the welcome session and breakout sessions for the Tri-State Main Street Program Conference with ~150 attendees. The welcome session was held at the Dodge Theatre, with breakout sessions downtown at the Iowa County Courthouse Board Room,
the newly refurbished Auditorium, and at the Theatre. |
